Ideas from people around town. When five people want one, we find a guide and put it on the calendar.
Don’t see it? Suggest one.
What do you want to learn, or who do you want to learn with? We read every idea and post the good ones.
Know a little? Guide a little.
No slides. Open your laptop and help the people at your table.

Your office, congregation, class, or block. We’ll match you with a guide.

Is it really free?
Yes. Every session is free, all month.
Do I need to know anything about AI?
No. Lots of sessions are for people who have never tried it. Pick “Brand new to AI” at the top to see those.
What should I bring?
A laptop if you have one (a phone works too), and something real you want to get done. A guide sits next to you and helps.
Is it a class with slides?
No. Sessions are 90 minutes of working on your own stuff with people around you. Guides show how they use AI, then help.
Where and when?
Weekdays from Jan 8 to 28, 2027, in the morning (8–9:30), at lunch (11:30–1), or in the evening (5:30–7). Most are at The Nieux, 2040 St. Charles Ave. Each session says where.
How does a session get on the calendar?
Anyone can suggest one. We read every idea, post the good ones, and once five people say “I’m in” and a guide signs up, we schedule it and email everyone.
Can my team or group have its own session?
Yes. Bring your krewe and we’ll match you with a guide and a time.
I use AI a lot. Can I help?
Please do. Offer to guide a session. No presenting, just help the people at your table.
Who’s putting this on?
AI January is presented by The Nieux Society and AI Friday, and run by volunteers from around New Orleans.
